Job Description

Step into a dynamic elementary school setting, supporting a vibrant community of K-5 students in an inclusive learning environment. This full-time, contract opportunity is available immediately, covering a medical leave with the potential to extend through the school year. You'll collaborate closely with a fellow psychologist and engage with a dedicated special education program, empowering young learners both academically and emotionally.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
Current certification or licensure as a School Psychologist Experience working in K-5 settings, preferably within special education environments Proficiency with assessment, counseling, and student intervention strategies Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide psychoeducational assessments and develop individualized plans for students Conduct individual and group counseling sessions as needed Support intervention strategies for students within special education initiatives, including
BEST/STRIVE
programs Collaborate with teachers, families, and staff to address student needs and monitor progress Participate in IEP meetings, offering professional insight and recommendations Contribute to a positive school climate by supporting social-emotional learning

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday:
7:50 AM - 2:50
PM Wednesday:
