Job Description

School Psychologist - District-Wide - Elementary & Middle School(s) Berwyn, IL (60402) SchoolHouse is hiring a full-time School Psychologist for a district-wide assignment across four schools in the Berwyn, IL area (60402) for the 2026-2027 school year. This is a W-2 position paying $50.05-$74.50 per hour DOE, Monday through Friday, 37.5-40 hours per week. Pay Scale $50.05 - $74.50 per hour, depending on experience. Actual rate within this range depends on licensure, endorsements, relevant experience, and assignment requirements. Paid weekly. Based on a 37.5-40 hour work week, depending on building schedule. This range reflects what SchoolHouse reasonably expects in good faith to pay for this assignment at the time of posting. Benefits and Other Compensation Medical, dental, and vision coverage available to eligible employees; paid holidays per company policy after the eligibility period; paid leave accrued in accordance with the Cook County Paid Leave Ordinance; workers' compensation coverage; employer-paid payroll taxes; and dedicated recruiter and HR support throughout the assignment. Eligibility and plan terms are governed by the applicable plan documents and company policy. Schedule Monday through Friday, full time (1.0 FTE), 37.5-40 hours per week depending on building schedule, working across four school sites within the district — three elementary schools and one middle school — for the 2026-2027 school year. Start date and assignment duration are subject to district needs, enrollment, and the terms of the client agreement, and are not guaranteed. About the Role SchoolHouse partners with school districts across the Chicago area to place school psychology professionals.
In this role you will:
Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and assessments to determine eligibility for special education and related services Write comprehensive evaluation reports and participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings Provide consultation to teachers, staff, and families on student academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs Support Response to Intervention (RTI) / MTSS processes and progress monitoring Collaborate with special education staff, related service providers, and school administration across assigned buildings Comply with all district, state, and IDEA requirements for documentation and timelines Requirements Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Psychologist endorsement, or eligibility to obtain one before the assignment start date Master's degree or higher in psychology or educational psychology with a specialization in school psychology Ability to pass a background check and meet all district onboarding and health requirements Legally authorized to work in the United States Employer of Record The selected candidate will be employed as a W-2 employee of SchoolHouse and assigned to perform services at client school sites under site-level direction and supervision.
