In this contract position, you'll partner with educational teams to support academic achievement, social-emotional wellness, and positive development for learners near Cary, IL.
Key Qualifications:
Current School Psychologist certification or licensure (state requirements met) Master's or Specialist degree in School Psychology or related field Experience in school settings providing assessment, counseling, and crisis intervention Proficiency in conducting psychoeducational evaluations and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams Strong communication and organization skills Dedication to supporting diverse student populations and fostering inclusive learning environments
Your Responsibilities:
Administer and interpret a variety of formal and informal assessments to identify strengths and needs of students Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents, providing guidance and support strategies Develop and implement individualized intervention plans Participate in IEP/504 plan meetings, contributing expertise to educational planning Provide crisis intervention and support for students as needed Facilitate small group or individual counseling sessions to address academic, behavioral, and emotional concerns Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines Enjoy the advantages of working on a flexible contract basis, putting your professional skills to work in supportive school communities.
