Qualifications:

Masters degree (or higher) in Psychology or Educational Psychology Current, active Illinois PEL with School Psychologist Endorsement Minimum of 2 years of school-based experience Demonstrated ability to embody and promote core educational values Persistent, child-centered approach, with a commitment to individualized success

Responsibilities:

Prevent, assess, and address academic and social-emotional needs impacting school performance and development Collaborate with SPED, 504, and MTSS teams to identify, evaluate, and serve students needing specialized support, ensuring compliance with all related guidelines Lead interventions and progress monitoring for Tier 3 students within MTSS frameworks Prepare high-quality reports and participate in meetings for IEP, eligibility, annual reviews, and intervention planning Facilitate communication between families, staff, and outside agencies regarding student needs (with appropriate consents) Maintain meticulous records of services, interventions, and compliance Stay current with evidence-based practices, providing professional development and resources to team members Proactively communicate with parents/guardians and school personnel, ensuring concerns and needs are addressed swiftly
