Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A school psychologist opportunity is available in Coal City, IL, designed for professionals licensed through the State Board. This position is offered on a contract-to-hire basis, providing a consistent 37.5-hour workweek spread across five days. The role supports students at both the elementary and high school levels, with a caseload of approximately 40 to 50 students.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students. Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop support plans. Provide counseling and interventions tailored to student needs. Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to team decision-making. Monitor student progress and adjust services accordingly.Qualifications:
Current state licensure as a School Psychologist. Experience working with elementary and high school-aged students. Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and educational laws. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage a caseload of 40-50 students effectively.Location:
