Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students as a valued School Psychologist on a contract assignment near Elgin, IL. This opportunity involves collaborating with a supportive educational team to address the diverse needs of students and foster their academic, behavioral, and emotional success.
Desired Qualifications:
Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program Valid state certification or eligibility as a School Psychologist Strong understanding of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI) Experience with psychological assessments and report writing Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Commitment to equity and culturally responsive practices Ability to work effectively across teams and independently
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations Provide direct support and interventions to students individually and in groups Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement IEPs and 504 plans Deliver crisis intervention and support as needed Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case conferences Advise on behavioral interventions, classroom management, and academic strategies Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines This contract role offers the chance to work in a collaborative and supportive educational setting, where your expertise as a School Psychologist will contribute significantly to student well-being and achievement.
