Job Description

Make a difference in the lives of young learners as a dedicated School Psychologist working with elementary students. This full-time contract position focuses on supporting K-5th grade students in a collaborative and rewarding school environment. Youll work closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to assess student needs and contribute your expertise to improve student outcomes.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement Prior experience as a School Psychologist in a school setting preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with children, families, and educational teams Ability to administer and interpret psychoeducational assessments Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive environment for all students
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations and create intervention plans tailored to individual student needs Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to develop and implement IEPs and 504 plans Provide crisis intervention and ongoing support for students facing academic, behavioral, or social-emotional challenges Participate in student support and multidisciplinary team meetings, offering expert recommendations and progress updates Engage in ongoing professional development and mentorship opportunities to enhance best practices and skillsets
