Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a pivotal role supporting students' growth and well-being as an in-person School Psychologist for a dynamic elementary environment serving PreK-8th grade. This contract opportunity runs from August 19, 2026, through June 2, 2027, with weekly guaranteed hours (37.5) that align with the school calendar and campus-specific schedules—such as Intermediate (8:20-3:55) and Middle grades (7:40-3:15). As a valued member of the educational team, your expertise will help shape brighter futures through comprehensive assessment, collaboration, and interventions. This is an in-person position with no hybrid option, ensuring direct connections with students, staff, and families. What you'll need: Valid School Psychologist license/certification Demonstrated experience or knowledge in K-8th grade educational and developmental stages Strong assessment, counseling, and consultative skills for diverse learners Ability to collaborate proactively with educators, support staff, and families Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking abilities Your key responsibilities: Conduct psychoeducational assessments and interpret results to inform student learning plans Provide consultation and recommendations to teachers and parents regarding academic, behavioral, and social-emotional supports Develop intervention strategies tailored to individual student needs Participate in IEP/504 meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams Deliver crisis intervention and ongoing counseling services as required Maintain thorough documentation in adherence to school and district guidelines You'll make meaningful difference, working closely with school communities, in a role offering steady hours and professional fulfillment.
