This contract position involves collaborating with students and staff across three districts in the Hampshire, IL area, offering a diverse professional experience within one FTE role. Candidates must hold a current Illinois School Psychologist certification along with a Professional Educator License (PEL). The ideal applicant is motivated, adaptable, and ready to support a range of student needs while working in varied environments.
Qualifications and Required Experience:
Active Illinois School Psychologist certification required Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) necessary Recent experience providing psychological services within elementary settings Ability to manage a caseload while traveling between district locations Strong collaboration, consultation, and communication skills Proficiency in conducting assessments, IEP development, and
RTI/MTSS
processes Comfort working independently across multiple school communities
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for elementary students Develop and participate in intervention plans to support students academic, behavioral, and emotional growth Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other service providers Contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and support documentation Travel between three partnering districts to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery Provide consultation to staff and families Maintain timely and complete confidential records This position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse group of students, gain exposure to multiple district cultures, and make a meaningful difference in childrens lives.
