This opportunity focuses on providing expert services to a K-12 population during a maternity leave, engaging with a diverse and dynamic group of students and faculty. You'll work onsite, collaborating closely with staff and families to support student success and mental health. Your expertise will play a key role in developing strategies, conducting assessments, and facilitating interventions that make a real difference in students' lives.
Desired Qualifications:
Valid licensure and credentialing as a School Psychologist. Previous experience providing psychological services in school settings. Demonstrated skill in conducting psychoeducational assessments, counseling, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Proficiency with K-12 populations, adapting approaches for students at various developmental stages. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct individualized assessments and evaluations for students across all grade levels. Develop, implement, and monitor intervention plans and Behavioral support programs. Serve as an active member of IEP and multidisciplinary teams. Consult with educators, administrators, and families to promote student learning and mental health. Maintain accurate, thorough documentation and contribute meaningfully to student records. Support staff and student crisis intervention as needed.
