Qualifications and Credentials:

Active Illinois School Psychologist certification required Professional Educator License (PEL) in Illinois is a must Experience working with elementary-aged children; school-based experience is highly desirable Excellent interpersonal, consultation, and communication skills Strong commitment to collaboration and building relationships with diverse school communities Ability to travel between multiple school sites within a week

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and interpret results for eligibility and intervention planning Provide direct and indirect counseling services to students Consult with teachers, administrators, and families regarding academic and behavioral interventions Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute valuable expertise Support data-driven decision-making for student support teams across all assigned districts Implement evidence-based social-emotional, behavioral, and mental health interventions Promote positive school climates and contribute to crisis response planning This position offers the chance to make an impact across a diverse range of schools while surrounded by committed professionals.
