Job Description

Embark on a meaningful opportunity working in an elementary school setting as a School Psychologist, where your expertise will support the academic and emotional well-being of students. This onsite, full-time contract position offers a dynamic and rewarding environment. You will collaborate with educators and families to foster student growth, apply evidence-based interventions, and promote a positive school culture for grades K-5. The role is located near Naperville, IL, serving a caseload of approximately 35 to 45 elementary students.
Key Qualifications:
Active Illinois School Psychologist license Professional Educator License (PEL) required Experience in school-based settings or working with elementary-aged children preferred Strong communication, assessment, and problem-solving abilities Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and family members
Core Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for referred students Provide direct counseling, crisis intervention, and case consultation services Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) Lead and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings Analyze student data and contribute to evidence-based intervention planning Serve as a liaison between the school, students, and their families to ensure holistic care Support the creation of a safe, inclusive, and supportive school climate This full-time assignment runs through May 28, 2027, with a consistent weekly schedule of 37.5 hours.
