Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Take the next step in your career as a School Psychologist serving students and educators in a dynamic, supportive school setting near Naperville, IL. This full-time contract position is available for an immediate start and offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the academic and personal growth of students.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field from an accredited institution Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist Experience working within K-12 schools, conducting assessments, and implementing interventions Solid knowledge of special education laws and processes Effective communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families Ability to provide crisis intervention and support as needed

Key Responsibilities:

Administer psychological and academic assessments to evaluate student needs and eligibility for services Interpret results and communicate findings to educational teams and families Develop and support the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) Offer consultation to teachers and staff on strategies for student success Deliver group and individual counseling as required Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and provide input on student progress Foster a safe and inclusive learning environment This position provides the ability to grow as a professional within a collegial school environment, positively impacting students' educational journeys every day.
