36 weeks A school district in the Oswego-Plainfield area is seeking a School Psychologist for an in-person, school-based position serving both an elementary setting and a transition program during the 2026-2027 school year . This role supports students through evaluations, eligibility determinations, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Position Details +

Interview Process:

Virtual or in-person, depending on availability Assignment Overview + One day per week supporting an elementary school caseload +

Hours:

8:45 AM - 4:00 PM + One day per week supporting a transition-age program +

Hours:

8:45 AM - 2:45 PM + Remaining schedule determined based on student needs and planning +

Breaks:

30-minute unpaid lunch Responsibilities + Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and assessments + Support eligibility determinations for special education services + Participate in IEP meetings and provide assessment-based recommendations + Collaborate with educators, administrators, and support staff + Support students with developmental, behavioral, and mental health needs + Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and district guidelines Requirements + Active Illinois PEL with School Psychologist endorsement + Master's degree in Psychology or related field preferred + School-based experience required + Experience with pediatric and adolescent populations preferred + Ability to meet all federal, state, and local requirements Onboarding + District fingerprinting required + Orientation details provided prior to start Compensation + $70 per hour (local) + W-2 employment through Amergis For more information or to apply, please contact:
