Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a difference in students' lives by using your expertise and passion in school psychology to help create a supportive and successful educational environment. This contract position gives you the opportunity to collaborate with an engaged community, impact student well-being, and enjoy the dynamic setting of schools close to Palatine, IL. What we're looking for: Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology (NASP-accredited program preferred) Valid and current licensing/certification as a School Psychologist in Illinois Previous experience performing evaluations, assessments, and delivering intervention plans for K-12 students Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, staff, and families Ability to handle a diverse caseload and manage confidential information with care Deep commitment to equity, student advocacy, and the educational process What you'll be doing: Conduct comprehensive psychological and academic evaluations in accordance with state and district guidelines Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with identified needs Collaborate with teachers, counselors, families, and support staff to help each student achieve their best Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and consultative services as needed Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute expert recommendations for student support Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all assessments, interventions, and progress notes This is a wonderful chance to use your training and creativity to support students' educational and emotional development.
