Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Begin your next adventure supporting students across K-12 settings as a contract school psychologist for the 2026-2027 academic year. Two opportunities are available, serving either a single site or as an itinerant psychologist across multiple schools. This role focuses on collaborating with educators, families, and support staff to foster student success and well-being.

Key Qualifications:

Hold an Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) in School Psychology for K-12. Earned a Master's degree in School Psychology. Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is a plus, but not required. Experience working within school-based teams and with diverse student populations is beneficial.

Your Responsibilities:

Deliver comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and interpret results for eligibility and program planning. Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to design and implement effective interventions. Support the Response to Intervention (RTI) and Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) initiatives. Provide direct services to students, including counseling and behavioral interventions. Travel between schools within the district may be necessary for the itinerant position. Contribute actively to Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and documentation. Advocate for inclusive practices and student-centered approaches.

Position Details:

Full-time contract: 37.5 hours per week.

School year assignment:

August 3, 2026, through May 28, 2027. Assignments available as a single school site or covering multiple schools as an itinerant psychologist.
