Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Take the next step in your career as a dedicated School Psychologist, working with elementary-aged students from PreK through 8th grade. This contract opportunity centers on providing crucial psychological support and guidance in a vibrant educational environment, all in person—no hybrid options—ensuring students receive consistent, hands-on care.
Key Experience & Qualifications:
Hold a valid School Psychologist license/certification Previous experience working with students in PreK-8th grade is highly valued Expertise in administering psychological evaluations, interpreting results, and recommending interventions Familiarity with school-based counseling, crisis intervention, and positive behavior strategies Strong collaboration with teachers, administrators, and families to support student growth Excellent communication and organizational skills Adaptable to varying start/end times (Intermediate 8:20-3:55; Middle 7:40-3:15)
Role Responsibilities:
Conduct psychoeducational assessments to identify students' learning, behavioral, and mental health needs Develop and implement individualized education and intervention plans Serve as a resource in the development of programs to improve school climates and promote positive student outcomes Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams to review student progress Provide consultation and in-service training for educational staff Participate in meetings, family consultations, and the IEP process Actively contribute to crisis response and intervention Highlights of the
