Youll split your enriching workdays between two schools, balancing evaluations with ongoing psychological support for a diverse group of learners.
Qualifications:
Valid School Psychologist credential and relevant licensure for school-based practice Experience working with early childhood through middle school populations (EC8th grade) Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to collaborate with students, families, and educator teams Competence in administering psychological assessments and reporting findings Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to evolving school needs
Core Responsibilities:
Conduct ECAT evaluations, interpreting results to guide student interventions Participate actively in IEP, evaluation, and planning meetings to support student success Provide ongoing consultation and support to educators and families regarding academic, behavioral, or social-emotional needs Maintain documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory and district standards Split schedule: devote half your day to ECAT evaluations and meetings, and the other half to Lake Villa, handling traditional school psychologist duties
