Job Description

Make a meaningful impact while advancing your career as a School Psychologist with a dynamic team serving K-12 students. This full-time, contract role offers the opportunity to provide essential psychological services in a diverse educational environment near Granger, IN. Key Qualifications:
Masters or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program Valid state School Psychologist certification or the ability to obtain required credentials Previous experience in conducting evaluations and reevaluations for K-12 students preferred Strong understanding of educational practices, behavioral interventions, and special education regulations Excellent interpersonal skills for communication with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for initial and re-evaluations in accordance with state and federal guidelines Collaborate with instructional staff and families to create and implement effective educational and behavioral interventions Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide input regarding student supports and accommodations Maintain accurate documentation and timely submission of required reports Serve as a resource to staff and parents on child development, mental health, and learning differences Support crisis intervention strategies and positive behavioral support initiatives within the school community This contract position offers an excellent opportunity to work Monday through Friday during regular school hours, balancing your professional and personal life.
