Job Description

School Psychologist - School-Based | Huntington, IN 46750 ProCare Therapy is seeking two dedicated School Psychologists for full-time school-based opportunities within a supportive K-5 district in the Huntington area for the 2026-2027 school year. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative multidisciplinary team supporting students with diverse learning and developmental needs across multiple school sites.
Position Details:
Full-Time (40 hours per week) 2 Openings available
Assignment Dates:
August 3, 2026 - May 19, 2027 Onsite preferred (travel candidates considered) Support across 5 school sites PreK-5th grade caseload Collaborative multidisciplinary team environment
Caseload & Student Population:
Students receiving services for Autism Spectrum Disorder Developmental Delays Emotional Disabilities Elementary-focused (PreK-5th grade) School-based evaluation, intervention, and consultation services
Responsibilities:
Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and assessments Participate in IEP meetings and eligibility determinations Provide consultation to teachers, staff, and families Support intervention planning and behavioral/academic programming Collaborate with special education teams across multiple school sites Maintain compliance with state and district documentation timelines
Interview Process:
Virtual interview format Approximately 30-45 minutes in length
Qualifications:
Active Indiana School Psychologist licensure/certification required Educator certification required School-based experience preferred Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
