Job Summary:

The School Psychologist supports the academic, social-emotional, and behavioral success of all students. This position involves conducting comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations, collaborating with educators and families, and contributing to the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). The School Psychologist also serves as a key resource in Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS), the referral process, and ensuring compliance with Indiana Special Education law.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct psychoeducational assessments using a variety of tools and methods aligned with Indiana and federal guidelines. Interpret assessment data and provide clear, parent-friendly reports that inform eligibility decisions and instructional planning. Participate in multidisciplinary teams in the development, review, and revision of IEPs. Consult with teachers, administrators, and other professionals regarding educational interventions and behavior management strategies. Serve as a resource for school teams during the MTSS process and when referrals are being considered. Support the implementation of academic and behavioral interventions. Collaborate with school personnel across districts to ensure consistency and continuity of services. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with Indiana IEP and district procedures. Stay current with best practices in school psychology, as well as changes in Indiana and federal special education law.

Required Qualifications:

Master's or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program. Valid Indiana School Psychologist license. Knowledge of Indiana Article 7 and IDEA (Individuals with Disabilities Education Act) regulations. Demonstrated experience working with students with a wide range of disabilities. Proficiency in administering, scoring, and interpreting standardized assessments. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce professional, accessible reports for families.
