What we're looking for: Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field from an accredited program Relevant state licensure or eligibility for certification as a school psychologist Strong assessment, intervention, and counseling skills Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other support professionals Experience developing and implementing IEPs and 504 plans is highly desirable Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation abilities Previous experience within a school environment is preferred, but enthusiastic newer professionals are encouraged to apply Key responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to determine student needs and support appropriate educational planning Provide direct counseling, intervention, and support services to students individually and in groups Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create positive behavioral interventions and strategies Participate in multidisciplinary teams and help develop individualized educational programs (IEPs) Offer crisis intervention and prevention services as needed Advocate for students' mental health and educational access through consultation and ongoing support Maintain thorough records and comply with all state and federal guidelines Thrive in a supportive community where your expertise is valued and you can enjoy a pathway to permanent placement.
