Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact supporting students' emotional and academic success as a School Psychologist for the current school year. This contract opportunity offers the chance to work collaboratively with educators, families, and administrators to help students thrive. You'll provide critical services in assessment, counseling, and intervention while fostering a positive, inclusive school environment.
Key Qualifications:
Master's or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist Proven experience conducting evaluations, assessments, and consultations in educational settings Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to develop intervention plans and work with multidisciplinary teams Compassionate, adaptable, and committed to student well-being
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform psychological and academic assessments to determine student needs Develop and implement effective behavior management strategies and intervention plans Consult with teachers, parents, and school staff to design supports tailored to individual students Attend and actively participate in IEP meetings and eligibility conferences Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and referrals as needed Promote a positive, safe, and respectful learning environment for all students Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations This position offers the benefit of weekly pay with rates ranging from $45-50 per hour, and access to comprehensive healthcare benefits.
