Full-Time About the Opportunity A leading organization in the correctional healthcare industry is seeking a Licensed Psychologist to join its multidisciplinary behavioral health team. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by providing high-quality psychological services to individuals in a secure institutional setting. The psychologist will play a vital role in assessment, treatment planning, crisis intervention, and collaboration with healthcare and security professionals to promote positive mental health outcomes. This is a 100% onsite position and is not eligible for remote work. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations, screenings, and assessments through clinical interviews and record reviews. Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and clinical findings. Provide individual psychological counseling and therapeutic interventions. Conduct regular mental health rounds in segregation and other specialized housing units to assess adjustment and treatment needs. Respond to mental health crises by providing assessments, counseling, and de-escalation interventions. Collaborate with psychiatrists, physicians, nurses, social workers, behavioral health providers, education staff, chaplains, and security personnel to ensure coordinated patient care. Participate in multidisciplinary treatment planning and case consultations. Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in accordance with organizational and regulatory standards. Provide consultation and support regarding behavioral health concerns affecting patient care and institutional operations. Required Qualifications Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Psychology from an accredited college or university.
