Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make an impact by supporting students across three educational sites as a full-time School Psychologist in the greater Winfield, KS area. This contract position gives you the opportunity to work with a diverse K-12 student population, collaborating with teachers, families, and administrators to promote academic and emotional success.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Valid certification/licensure as a School Psychologist Master's degree or higher in School Psychology or a related field Previous experience working with K-12 students preferred Strong skills in assessment, counseling, and intervention Effective communication abilities with students, parents, and staff Experience developing and guiding Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Ability to travel between three locations as needed
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and interpret results Provide direct counseling and intervention services to students Collaborate with educational teams to support student learning and behavioral goals Participate in the development and implementation of IEPs and 504 Plans Serve as a resource for teachers and parents regarding strategies for student success Maintain accurate records and complete required documentation in a timely manner Support crisis intervention and prevention efforts within assigned schools This is an excellent opportunity to engage with students at various grade levels and make a lasting difference in their educational journey.
