Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychologist to join our dynamic mental health team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive psychological services to diverse populations across outpatient and inpatient settings. Your expertise will help individuals of all ages navigate mental health challenges, develop coping strategies, and achieve personal growth through evidence-based interventions. You will play a vital role in conducting assessments, delivering therapy, and supporting clients with neurodevelopmental disorders, trauma-related conditions, and behavioral health needs. Responsibilities Provides treatment to adults with serious mental illness and co-occurring substance, developmental, and behavioral health needs. Develops and/or completes any warranted risk assessments and psychological testing, behavioral plans, and/or individual and group therapies. Assists in crisis interventions. Completes initial assessments, develops individualized treatment plans, monitors patient progress, and assists with discharge planning. Participates in a multidisciplinary treatment team to assess diagnosis, danger, benefit, and least restrictive level of care. Provides supervision to practicum students and interns, if appropriately credentialed. Testifies for involuntary commitment hearings as needed (

Note:

New psychologists receive training, mentorship, and opportunities to observe before independently testifying). Conduct competency evaluations and occasional criminal responsibility evaluations. Testify when subpoenaed. (

Training can also be provided for these tasks). Skills Strong crisis intervention skills for managing urgent mental health situations effectively. Hospital experience with inpatient or outpatient psychiatric care is highly desirable. Expertise in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychotherapy, behavioral health strategies, and evidence-based practice. Skilled in conducting mental health assessments, psychological testing, diagnostic evaluations, and individual psychological assessments. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations, clinical ethical guidelines, medical records management, and telehealth platforms. Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), neurodevelopmental disorders, trauma-related disorders, and disabilities. Ability to provide culturally sensitive care across diverse populations including pediatrics and geriatrics. Pay:

$89,500.00 - $107,500.00 per year
