Job Description

Make a meaningful impact supporting students social, emotional, and educational development as a School Psychologist on a contract basis in the Baton Rouge, LA area. This opportunity is designed for dedicated professionals passionate about fostering wellness and academic success for children and adolescents within a supportive school environment.
Key Qualifications:
Valid School Psychologist license (Louisiana or eligible for reciprocity) Previous experience as a School Psychologist within educational settings preferred Solid skills in assessment, counseling, crisis intervention, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams Comfortable working with diverse student populations, including those in primary and secondary grades Exceptional communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities
Position Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments to guide student support plans Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop effective interventions Participate in eligibility and Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings Provide counseling, crisis response, and consultative services as needed Maintain accurate case records and comply with all ethical and legal guidelines Support MTSS and RTI initiatives to help students reach their full potential Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices This contract offers an excellent opportunity to apply your expertise in a dynamic educational environment, making a real difference for students from early childhood through adolescence.
