Qualifications and Desired Background:

Masters, Specialist, or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program Current or eligible state licensure/certification as a School Psychologist Strong foundation in assessment, behavioral intervention, and counseling within school environments Experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations and developing individualized education plans (IEPs) Effective communication, collaboration, and documentation abilities Compassion, professionalism, and adaptability in working with diverse students and teams

Key Responsibilities:

Administer comprehensive psychological and educational assessments for students referred by staff or families Interpret evaluation outcomes and present clear findings to teachers, parents, and support teams Consult with educators and administrators to develop interventions supporting academic, social, and emotional needs Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings, helping tailor supports for individual students Provide crisis intervention and short-term counseling as necessary Offer professional insight and training to staff, promoting best practices in student development Working as a contracted School Psychologist in this supportive educational community allows you to apply your expertise while enjoying professional autonomy and flexibility.
