Key Qualifications:
Active Louisiana DOE School Psychologist Certification required Previous experience working within a school setting preferred Ability to fulfill district credentialing requirements, including drug screening and fingerprinting Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills Flexibility to adapt to varying caseloads and multiple school assignments Excellent communication and documentation abilities
Responsibilities:
Conduct student evaluations and assessments to determine eligibility for educational services Develop and implement evidence-based interventions and strategies Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and IEP processes Provide consultation and support for crisis interventions within the school community Maintain comprehensive records in compliance with state and district regulations
