Qualifications & Experience:
Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field Active state licensure as a School Psychologist (or eligibility) Prior experience in a school setting is preferred Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological assessments and interpret results to inform IEPs and intervention strategies Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to promote effective learning environments Provide counseling to students individually and in groups to address academic, emotional, and behavioral needs Participate in multidisciplinary teams for student evaluation and program planning Support crisis interventions and facilitate referrals as needed Maintain accurate and organized documentation in compliance with federal, state, and district guidelines
