Job Description

Make a genuine impact in the educational journey of students by serving as a School Psychologist in a contract position. Qualifications and Experience:
Master's or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution Valid and current certification or licensure as a School Psychologist (or eligibility to obtain) Experience in administering cognitive, behavioral, and academic assessments Solid understanding of IEP processes, multi-tiered systems of support, and special education law Strong communication skills to collaborate with school staff, parents, and students Compassion, patience, and adaptability when working with diverse student populations
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct student evaluations and interpret assessment data to guide interventions Collaborate with teachers and staff to develop effective strategies supporting student success Participate in IEP meetings, providing expert recommendations for accommodations and supports Offer individual and group counseling to assist with emotional, behavioral, and academic needs Consult with parents and caregivers to support student development and well-being Maintain accurate records and ensure documentation complies with district, state, and federal guidelines This is a contract position based near Thibodaux, LA, giving you a chance to experience a vibrant local community while advancing your career in educational support.
