Key Qualifications:
Active licensure as a School Psychologist or eligibility for appropriate state credentials Previous experience working with school-aged children or adolescents Strong understanding of psychological assessment tools and behavioral intervention strategies Excellent communication, organizational, and consultation skills Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams Familiarity with special education processes and IEPs is a plus
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify students needs and strengths Develop, implement, and monitor intervention plans tailored to individual students Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, including IEP teams, to advocate for student services Provide crisis intervention and counseling as needed for students facing social, emotional, or academic challenges Communicate findings and recommendations clearly with staff and families Support the school in maintaining compliance with federal and state guidelines for student support Foster a positive learning environment through consultation, workshops, and staff development
