Qualifications & Experience:
Current licensure as a School Psychologist in Massachusetts Prior experience in educational settings, preferably at both elementary and high school levels Proficiency with conducting initial evaluations and re-evaluations Skilled in chairing and participating in IEP meetings Experience providing counseling services to students is essential Strong collaboration, organization, and communication skillsWhat You'll Do:
During the first leave (September 1- November 2, 2026), provide psychological services for an elementary school, including evaluations, re-evaluations, IEP meeting leadership, and student counseling Transition to the second leave in December, overlapping with the incumbent school psychologist to ensure a smooth handover From approximately December 21/22 through early May, perform initials and re-evaluations—primarily focused on students in a high school resource program Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student needs and ensure compliance with special education regulations Maintain thorough documentation and contribute positively to a supportive school culture This is an excellent chance to apply your assessment, counseling, and leadership skills across diverse settings.
