Job Description

Seeking an experienced professional to support K-5 students through comprehensive evaluations and small group counseling as part of a dedicated contract opportunity in the Winchester, MA area, conveniently situated near Cambridge. This role is focused on working directly with students on IEPs, offering an impactful way to contribute to the well-being and academic growth of young learners.
Qualifications & Experience:
Valid School Psychologist certification for Massachusetts Prior experience in school settings, working with elementary-aged students Proficiency in conducting psychoeducational assessments and developing evaluation reports Understanding of the IEP process and implementation of student accommodations Strong skills in delivering small group counseling and interventions Ability to communicate effectively with students, teachers, and families
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a caseload of K-5 students requiring psychological evaluations and counseling services Complete thorough evaluations to assist with special education eligibility and planning Facilitate small group counseling sessions to address academic, social, and emotional needs of students on IEPs Collaborate with special education teams, teachers, and parents to support individualized student goals Maintain appropriate documentation and case notes compliant with school and district standards Foster a supportive and inclusive environment for all students
