School Psychologist - Chicopee, MA

Job Description

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity serving students from kindergarten through 12th grade across several school sites near Chicopee, MA. This position offers both full-time and flexible part-time schedules to accommodate the right professional. You'll make a meaningful impact by providing essential psychological services, ensuring that a diverse student population receives critical support throughout the academic journey. Start date is ASAP, continuing through June 15, 2027. As an integral contributor, you'll manage a varied caseload and collaborate with educators and families to deliver optimal outcomes.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
Current Massachusetts School Psychologist Certification Bilingual fluency in Spanish required Previous experience in school-based settings is a plus Strong communication and organization skills Ability to effectively balance multiple sites and caseloads Familiarity with cultural and linguistic factors in student assessment
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive student evaluations and assessments districtwide Prepare detailed reports on findings, interventions, and recommendations Participate actively in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, presenting evaluation results and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams Offer counseling, consultation, and crisis intervention as needed Foster positive relationships with students, families, and school staff Enjoy a highly competitive compensation package with weekly pay, ensuring financial flexibility.
