Full Job Description Description:
Child & Adolescent Therapist Verge Therapy Verge Therapy is a nationally recognized, clinician-owned practice, led by award-winning leadership and represented within the Forbes Business Council for its measurable impact on client outcomes and its commitment to building sustainable, high-performing clinical teams. Every decision about pay, schedule, and workload is made by someone who's sat in the chair, which is why you're paid for your paperwork. 12 minutes of paid admin time for every clinical hour, built into your rate, not a stipend or something you catch up on at 9pm for free. It's also why 82% of the clinicians we hired in 2025 are still with us, up from 61% in 2023. The Expectation Part-time is 48 billable hours per month (~12/week), measured monthly, not weekly. A month absorbs the ordinary rhythm of clinical work: a heavy week, a school vacation, a run of cancellations. As a lot of our clients are school-aged, we need afternoon and evening availability. Once you have an established caseload, you build your schedule. Many of our clinicians blend in-office and telehealth days. Compensation & Benefits $54-$59/hr (pre-licensed) $64-$69/hr (independently licensed) Paid biweekly, regardless of insurance payout Billable Hours Bonus 0.2 paid admin hour per clinical hour Late cancellations/no-shows paid at your rate 40 hours of Sick Time at your hourly rate Malpractice Insurance fully covered Free supervision (individual, group, licensure-track) and risk consultation Paid orientation Where This Goes Moving to independent licensure means a built-in raise, no negotiation needed. Beyond that, Verge is growing. We added more than fifteen clinicians in the past year and are expanding across our locations, which means opportunities for advancement open up as we grow - supervisory roles, clinical leadership, and specialization. A clear rate progression from pre-licensed to independently licensed Ongoing specialized training and consultation across modalities A team small enough that your voice carries, and structured enough that you are not improvising alone What We Handle So You Don't Billing, credentialing, referrals, scheduling, marketing, EHR, office space, and supplies. What You'll Do Individual therapy for children/adolescents with family involvement; assessments and treatment plans; evidence-based, trauma-informed care; crisis response; collaboration with schools and pediatricians; documentation on paid time.
What You Bring Required:
Master's in social work, counseling, psychology, or related field; MA licensure or license-eligible (LCSW, LICSW, LMHC, LMFT, or equivalent); experience with children/adolescents; trauma-informed, family-systems grounding.
Nice to have:
Play therapy, CBT, DBT, TF-CBT, or parent coaching training; OCD or divorce/separation experience; school/pediatric collaboration track record. Apply Submit a resume with a short note about the work you want to be doing. We read and respond to every application. Verge Therapy is committed to building a team that reflects the communities we serve. We welcome applicants of all backgrounds, identities, and experiences, and do not discriminate on the basis of race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, disability, religion, or any other protected characteristic.
