Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a direct impact on K-5 students by supporting their academic and emotional growth as a full-time School Psychologist. This contract opportunity offers a chance to work collaboratively across two elementary schools situated in a welcoming community near Needham, MA. Your expertise will play a vital role in assessing student needs, planning interventions, and partnering with educators and families to foster a positive learning environment.
Key Qualifications:
Master's or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology Valid School Psychologist credential in Massachusetts Experience working with elementary (K-5) populations preferred Thorough understanding of behavioral interventions, psychoeducational assessments, and IEP development Strong communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
Provide direct and consultative psychological services for students in grades K-5 across two elementary campuses Conduct comprehensive evaluations, including cognitive, academic, social-emotional, and behavioral assessments Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop strategies and interventions that support student success Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of individualized education plans Offer crisis intervention and counseling as needed to support student well-being Maintain accurate records, reports, and confidential documentation in compliance with district and state regulations This full-time assignment spans 40 hours per week and begins as soon as possible, giving you the opportunity to make an immediate and meaningful difference.
