Key Qualifications & Experience:
Hold a valid School Psychologist license or certification in Massachusetts Demonstrated experience in school-based psychological services Strong knowledge of assessment tools, evaluation methods, and intervention strategies Effective communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, students, and families Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities Passion for supporting student learning and social-emotional well-being
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and interpret results Work with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Provide consultation to educators and parents regarding student behavior, learning styles, and mental health concerns Deliver direct and indirect counseling or interventions for students Participate in response-to-intervention (RTI), crisis intervention, and behavioral support initiatives Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district and legal requirements Support the school's mission of inclusive education and student success This contract position allows you to contribute your expertise, with flexibility and the opportunity to impact students' lives positively every day.
