This full-time opportunity (with consideration for part-time candidates) allows you to utilize your skills in assessment, counseling, and collaboration alongside a dedicated educational team supporting students growth and success.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Valid school psychologist certification/license (state eligibility required) Bilingual proficiency; ability to communicate effectively with students and families in English and another language Masters or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or related field Experience with psychoeducational assessments, behavioral interventions, and IEP team participation Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills for working with staff, students, and families Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to inform eligibility and intervention planning Provide culturally responsive counseling and consultation to students, parents, and educators Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and administrators to develop effective behavioral and academic strategies Participate in IEP and other multidisciplinary meetings, offering insights on student strengths and needs Support the creation of a positive, inclusive learning environment for students of all backgrounds Advocate for students social, emotional, and academic well-being within the school community
