Job Description

Embark on a rewarding contract assignment providing vital psychological support to secondary students in a dynamic educational environment. This opportunity, located near South Hadley, MA, offers the chance to make a lasting impact on students in grades 5 through 12. The position spans two school sites and focuses on psychological assessments and evaluations, helping to foster student success and well-being throughout the academic year.

Qualifications & Experience:

Must hold current and valid School Psychologist licensure or certification for the state of Massachusetts Expertise in administering, scoring, and interpreting psychological assessments Familiarity with supporting students in grades 5-12 Proficient in preparing detailed evaluation reports and participating in multi-disciplinary teams Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with educators, families, and support staff

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct approximately 100 evaluations for students in the designated age group Perform comprehensive psychological testing, write reports, and provide recommendations for student support Assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of interventions for students Collaborate across teams to ensure that educational objectives are met and support plans are tailored to student needs Serve as a valuable resource for faculty, staff, and families regarding students' learning and mental health needs This contract position is scheduled to start as soon as possible and continue through June 11, 2027, with a consistent schedule of 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
