Matrix Providers is hiring a Child Psychologist to join our team of talented professionals who provide health care services to our Military Service Members and their families in at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, Bethesda, MD.

$68.40-$72.00/hourSchedule:
Monday through Friday - 7am-3:30pm or 7:30am-4pmComputer System:

Shall hold a Doctorate in clinical or counseling psychology from an American Psychological Association (APA) accredited program and must have completed an APA approved clinical psychology internship.Certification:
Must maintain current certification in American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers; American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Course or American Red Cross.Experience:
A minimum of two (2) years within the past five (5) years in the practice of clinical psychology. Minimum two years of experience in the past three years working with child & adolescents.Licensure:
Must have and maintain a current license to practice Clinical or Counseling Psychology in any one of the 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, Guam or the U.S. Virgin Islands that allows for the independent practice of clinical services. This license must be current, valid, and unrestricted.Preferred Qualifications:
Experience providing psychological care to children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients. Strong assessment, testing, treatment, and patient education skills. Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and manage a busy caseload. Military behavioral health experience, including PTSD and deployment-related concerns, preferred. Must be able to obtain and maintain required security clearances and work with sensitive military and government populations. Willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed.Child Psychologist Core Job Duties:
Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations for children and adolescents. Provide individual, family, group, and play therapy, including crisis intervention and behavioral health treatment. Administer and interpret psychological testing for diagnostic and treatment planning purposes. Develop and manage individualized treatment plans and coordinate continuity of care. Maintain timely documentation and workload requirements. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in case reviews, care conferences, and treatment planning meetings.
