Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychologist to join our dynamic mental health team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive psychological services to diverse populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and seniors. Your expertise will help individuals navigate mental health challenges, develop coping strategies, and achieve personal growth through evidence-based interventions. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in both inpatient and outpatient settings, utilizing your skills in assessment, therapy, and crisis intervention to support clients across a wide spectrum of needs. Responsibilities Conduct thorough mental health assessments and psychological testing to diagnose a variety of conditions, including neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism spectrum disorder and trauma-related disorders like PTSD. Develop individualized treatment plans incorporating evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), behavioral health interventions, and psychotherapy tailored to each client's unique needs. Provide individual, group, and family counseling sessions focused on mental health diagnostics, addiction counseling, trauma recovery, and support for clients with disabilities or neurodevelopmental disorders. Offer crisis intervention services to clients experiencing acute mental health emergencies, ensuring safety and stabilization while coordinating with emergency responders when necessary. Maintain accurate and confidential medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and clinical ethical guidelines; document patient care activities thoroughly. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including social workers, medical professionals, educators, and caregivers—to optimize client outcomes across inpatient and outpatient settings. Engage in ongoing research and professional development to stay current with advances in psychological testing, evidence-based interventions, and telehealth therapy modalities. Qualifications Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychology from an accredited institution; licensure or certification as required by state law. Proven experience working with children, adolescents, adults, or geriatrics in clinical or hospital environments. Strong background in child & family counseling, school experience, telehealth therapy, and behavioral health services. Demonstrated expertise in mental health assessments, psychological testing (including diagnostic evaluation), and evidence-based treatment planning. Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorders, neurodevelopmental disorders, trauma-related conditions such as PTSD, and substance use issues. Proficiency in crisis intervention techniques and managing acute mental health situations effectively. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations, medical records management, clinical ethical guidelines, and documentation standards.
