Clinical Psychologist (Clinical Support Tools) SME IV
Position:
SME IV - Clinical Psychologist (Clinical Support Tools)
Location:
Psychological Health Center of Excellence (PHCoE)
Work Environment:
Hybrid / Telework Eligible (Routine and situational telework is authorized. Facility space restrictions may necessitate part-time or full-time telework.)

$130,000 - $176,000Knowesis is seeking an SME IV - Clinical Psychologist to lead the translation of complex psychological health research and clinical recommendations into actionable support tools. This role is crucial for promoting the uptake of evidence-based care across the Military Health System (MHS) by developing products tailored to providers, patients, and family members.

The Job Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
  • Translate complex clinical recommendations released by medical professional bodies or military/veterans governmental agencies into actionable information products.
  • Manage the full cycle of product development for deliverables targeting healthcare providers, patients, family members, and other MHS stakeholders.
  • Develop brief clinical recommendations based on the findings from focused evidence synthesis inquiries regarding the effective treatment of mental health conditions.
  • Produce technical artifacts (e.
g., reports, tools, briefings, presentations, and manuscripts) consistent with the PHCoE mission set.
Required Qualifications:
  • Doctorate (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical Psychology.
  • At least 13 years of full-time postdoctoral work experience directly related to the practice of clinical psychology.
  • At least 3 years of full-time postdoctoral work developing tools or training to facilitate the delivery of evidence-based mental health care and promote knowledge of clinical recommendations and guidelines.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with military or veteran populations.
  • Proven track record of publishing clinical tools or professional manuscripts.
