Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Exciting opportunity for a skilled school psychologist to make a meaningful impact in an educational setting! We are seeking a dedicated professional to fill a contract position serving elementary or middle school students in the Elkton, MD area. This is a wonderful chance to provide essential support and guidance to students, families, and staff. In this full-time role, you'll work a schedule of 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday (

Elementary:

8:15-3:45 or

Secondary:

7:30-3:00), with a tentative end date of June 12. You'll join a dynamic team, utilizing your expertise to lead psychoeducational evaluations, support student success, and collaborate with educators.

Qualifications and Experience:

Valid MSDE School Psychologist certification required Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments Background working with K-12 student populations, ideally elementary or middle school Comfortable managing a caseload of approximately 70 evaluations and counseling responsibilities Familiarity with MTSS, IEP, and 504 meeting participation Strong communication and collaboration skills In-person availability is strongly preferred

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations Attend Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), IEP, and 504 meetings Provide counseling services to students as needed Maintain timely and thorough documentation Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student learning and well-being Help create a positive, inclusive school climate
