Shore Staffing, Inc. is seeking an experienced Licensed Psychologist for a part-time opportunity (20 hours per week) in a specialized residential and secure treatment setting in the Hagerstown, Maryland area. This is an excellent opportunity for a psychologist who has experience working with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, co-occurring mental health conditions, complex behavioral needs, and/or forensic involvement. The psychologist will provide clinical oversight, assessment, consultation, and direct psychological services while collaborating closely with an interdisciplinary treatment team. Schedule Approximately 20 hours per week On-site in Hagerstown, Maryland Flexible weekly scheduling, subject to facility approval Part-time, ongoing opportunity Key Responsibilities Provide clinical supervision and oversight to Psychology Associates and their assigned caseloads Oversee the development and implementation of person-centered psychological services and behavioral interventions Conduct and/or oversee psychological assessments and clinical evaluations Review, approve, and co-sign behavioral support plans, risk assessments, and other required clinical documentation Participate in competency-related and court-ordered psychological services Complete psychological summaries and other required reports Conduct guardianship evaluations, as applicable Participate in hearings and provide professional testimony when required Provide individual and group psychological interventions Assist individuals with emotional regulation, coping skills, social competency, positive routines, and community-readiness skills Participate in interdisciplinary treatment meetings and collaborate with clinical, residential, and support staff Provide recommendations regarding behavioral, psychological, and treatment needs Respond appropriately and calmly to behavioral or clinical crises Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation Minimum Qualifications Doctoral degree in Psychology (PhD, PsyD, or EdD) Active Maryland Psychologist license required Minimum of 2 years of experience providing psychological services to individuals with intellectual disabilities Experience with individuals who may have co-occurring mental health diagnoses and complex behavioral needs Strong clinical supervision, assessment, documentation, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills Comfortable working within a structured and secure treatment environment Ability to successfully complete required criminal background screening and credentialing requirements Preferred Experience Candidates with experience in one or more of the following areas are strongly encouraged to apply: Intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) Forensic psychology or forensic populations Secure or residential treatment settings Behavioral assessment and intervention Court-ordered evaluations or competency-related services Clinical supervision of Psychology Associates Crisis intervention and risk assessment Additional Requirements The selected psychologist will be required to complete facility-specific orientation and safety training.
