Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract An exciting opportunity awaits a dedicated School Psychologist eager to support students in a well-resourced Maryland educational setting. This contract position begins as soon as possible and will continue through mid-June, with a traditional Monday through Friday schedule. You'll provide vital psychoeducational evaluations and counseling services for elementary or middle school-age students, managing a dynamic caseload that averages around 70 evaluations annually—with additional counseling responsibilities. Flexibility is essential, as actual referral numbers may fluctuate throughout the year.

Key Qualifications:

Current Maryland State Department of Education certification in School Psychology. Previous experience working as a School Psychologist in an educational setting strongly preferred. Solid knowledge and practical application of psychoeducational assessments. Familiarity with supporting students through attendance at MTSS meetings, IEP meetings, and 504 plan meetings. Strong organizational, communication, and counseling skills for work with both students and multidisciplinary teams. Readiness to work on-site; position prioritizes in-person candidates. Ability to manage varying caseloads and adapt to school needs as they arise.

Primary Responsibilities:
