This full-time contract opportunity near Rising Sun, MD, offers the chance to work across a maximum of two school buildingspotentially serving both elementary and secondary populations. Your role will support the academic, social, and emotional development of students in a collaborative and resource-rich setting.

Qualifications/Preferred Experience:

State certification as a School Psychologist Masters or Specialist-level degree from an accredited program in School Psychology Experience working at the elementary and/or secondary level preferred Strong skills in assessment, intervention, data analysis, and collaboration with educators and families Ability to navigate multiple sites with adaptability and professionalism Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

Key Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive psychological services, including evaluations, counseling, and consultation Support the implementation of evidence-based interventions and multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and Section 504 Plans Engage in data-driven practices to monitor student progress and inform decision-making Offer crisis intervention services as needed Serve as a resource for educators and parents to promote positive student outcomes

Schedule:

Elementary campuses: 8:15 AM to 3:45 PM Secondary campuses: 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM Full-time commitment, with no more than two building assignments This position offers rewarding opportunities to advocate for students needs and foster a supportive learning community.
