Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a lasting impact supporting students and educators in a dynamic school environment as a School Psychologist. This contract opportunity offers the chance to work closely with teachers, families, and administrators to ensure students receive the resources and support they need to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Key Qualifications:
Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field Current certification or eligibility as a School Psychologist Proven experience conducting psychological and academic assessments for students of varying backgrounds Strong understanding of best practices in special education and Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) Ability to develop, interpret, and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Excellent communication, consultation, and report-writing skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations for K-12 students Collaborate with educators, parents, and interdisciplinary teams to interpret assessment data and develop intervention recommendations Provide direct counseling and, when applicable, crisis intervention for students Facilitate and participate in IEP and other student support meetings Offer consultation services to faculty and staff to promote positive educational outcomes and improved student well-being Maintain accurate student records and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
