Entry Level Psychology - Behavioral Health Professional (BHP) -

What You'll Do Support the health, wellness, and safety of the child Encourage and assist with goals related to daily living skills (healthy habits, personal care, independence) Help children build safe and appropriate peer and adult relationships Teach skills that improve self-awareness, social awareness, and community integration Maintain accurate and compliant documentation of progress and behaviors Implement behavior support strategies as outlined in the treatment plan Report suspected abuse or neglect promptly and appropriately Use evidence-based techniques such as prompting, modeling, instruction, and reinforcement Provide transportation as needed for appointments and community activities Encourage communication, decision-making, confidence, and access to needed services What You Need Must be at least 18 years old High school diploma or equivalent required English proficiency Current CPR card Current health screening (per state requirements) Ability to complete the Maine BHP Certificate within 1 year of hire (Maxim provides paid training)
