As an Intake Clinician , you'll be the first point of contact for new clients—assessing needs, offering support, and connecting individuals to life-changing services. What You'll Do Complete biopsychosocial intake assessments for children, adolescents, and adults Collaborate with the Children's Diagnostic and Treatment Team and other professionals Provide accurate diagnoses in accordance with DSM standards Consult with agencies and community partners to ensure coordinated care Maintain thorough case documentation following Person-Centered Planning guidelines Participate in trainings focused on co-occurring disorders Conduct assessments in office or community settings
Qualifications Education:
Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field; licensed in Michigan (LLMSW, LMSW, LLPC, LPC, LLP)
Experience:
1+ years of mental health experience preferred; lived experience with mental illness, developmental disabilities, or substance use disorders valued Strong communication and organizational skills Functional computer literacy Valid Michigan driver's license and acceptable driving record Physical Requirements Ability to walk, bend, stand, sit, lift up to 25 lbs, stretch/reach, hear, see, and drive.
